It is also possible to connect several Ecowec -hybrid heat exchangers in parallel or in series for heat pump connection, thus optimizing the efficiency of heat recovery. Other sources of heat can also be utilized in the heat pump connection, for example. extract air, geothermal, condensate and solar heat.<\/p>\n<p>In heat pump connection, the hybrid exchanger is filled with heat pump collection fluid, which circulates with the heat pump. The wastewater heat passing through the spiral pipe of the hybrid exchanger is transferred to the collection fluid of the ground or exhaust air heat pump, increasing the heat pump\u2019s efficiency, output and efficiency. The wastewater piping can be connected either as a gravity drain or as a pumped pressure drain to the flange connections of the hybrid exchanger. For heat pump connections, it is recommended that an Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger insulation kit is installed to prevent external condensation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Hot water preheating<\/h3>\n<p>In the pre-heating of domestic hot water without a heat pump, the hybrid exchanger is filled with water to which is added antifungal agent. The heat of the waste water passing through the spiral pipe of the hybrid exchanger is transferred to the water inside the exchanger, from where the heat is transferred to the water of the external charge group or internal additional heat exchangers before the actual heat generation system. In internal auxiliary heat exchangers, hot water is connected to manifolds on top of the exchanger, which speeds up installation on site. The insulation kit prevents condensation outside the Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger in heat pump connections and acts as thermal insulation when installing the hybrid exchanger below 20 \u00b0 C. It is easy and quick to install on site after the actual pipe connections. Only 5 cm of free space is needed around the hybrid changer for installation. Made of 15 mm PEX foam coated with Velor on the outside for Velcro fastening.
