Ecowec™-hybrid heat exchanger
Ecowec™ -hybrid heat exchanger is most versatile heat exchanger in the market. It recycles heat from waste water, toilet water, wash water, exhaust air, condensate heat, steam, lake and sea water and the sun.

Best benefit with a heat pump connection
The best heat recovery efficiency is achieved by connecting the Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger to the heat pump. It is also possible to connect several Ecowec -hybrid heat exchangers in parallel or in series for heat pump connection, thus optimizing the efficiency of heat recovery. Other sources of heat can also be utilized in the heat pump connection, for example. extract air, geothermal, condensate and solar heat.
In heat pump connection, the hybrid exchanger is filled with heat pump collection fluid, which circulates with the heat pump. The wastewater heat passing through the spiral pipe of the hybrid exchanger is transferred to the collection fluid of the ground or exhaust air heat pump, increasing the heat pump’s efficiency, output and efficiency. The wastewater piping can be connected either as a gravity drain or as a pumped pressure drain to the flange connections of the hybrid exchanger. For heat pump connections, it is recommended that an Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger insulation kit is installed to prevent external condensation.
Hot water preheating
In the pre-heating of domestic hot water without a heat pump, the hybrid exchanger is filled with water to which is added antifungal agent. The heat of the waste water passing through the spiral pipe of the hybrid exchanger is transferred to the water inside the exchanger, from where the heat is transferred to the water of the external charge group or internal additional heat exchangers before the actual heat generation system. In internal auxiliary heat exchangers, hot water is connected to manifolds on top of the exchanger, which speeds up installation on site. The wastewater piping can be connected either as a gravity drain or as a pumped pressure drain to the flange connections of the hybrid exchanger.
Ecowec™ R03 is designed for terraced and small apartment buildings with a water consumption of less than 2500 m³ per year.

Ecowec™ R10 is designed for large residential buildings, hotels, industrial facilities, laundries, hospitals and other properties that waste large amounts of energy without recovering heat.
Ecowec™ R10 HST is designed for swimming pools, spas, laundries, hospitals, industrial processes and other applications where steel is required to withstand extreme resistance to oxidizing or corrosive substances. The features are the same as in the R10 version, but the material is made of acid-proof steel, which has been specially treated to maximize durability and service life.

Ecowec™ -insulation kit
Ecowec™-insulationis a 3- to 6-piece insulation kit that has been cut and apertured to the dimensions of the hybrid exchanger. The insulation kit prevents condensation outside the Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger in heat pump connections and acts as thermal insulation when installing the hybrid exchanger below 20 ° C. It is easy and quick to install on site after the actual pipe connections. Only 5 cm of free space is needed around the hybrid changer for installation. Made of 15 mm PEX foam coated with Velor on the outside for Velcro fastening. Insulation kit includes Velcro for attaching insulation seams.
Ecowec™ -monitoring system
The remote monitoring system allows you to monitor the operation of the Ecowec -hybrid heat exchanger from a mobile, computer and property automation system. It enables the system to be monitored and, if necessary, controlled. Automatic alarms avoid unnecessary maintenance and repairs that minimize system running costs.
